Thanks all. The estimator came up with $3300 worth of damage - more than I thought when I first looked at it.

The other insurance company already admitted full liabilty, so our insurance will cut us a check for the full amount.

I called Boggs Auto today based on recommendations from Ken and others in a recent thread. They handle everything and use OEM parts, so it should be good as new soon.

I don't really care about diminished value, etc, as we intend to keep it 'til it dies. It only has 62k miles yet, so it should last a while.

 

Dave, they also have a Hertz desk on site. Tell you Jim that you have an S and he will talk to you for hours about racing and cars. He has an NSX, his DD is an 06 Vette, and he races a Panoz GTS. But most of all they do great work and they really treat you like a customer.

 

Hey Ken, I talked to Jason this morning and the car is going in on Tuesday morning. He's going to have Hertz call me and set up a rental.

I saw the Panoz for sale on their website. If I see Jim I'll definitely mention the S

 

I don't think that it's Jim's car. He was a dealer for the Panoz GTS for a while, not sure if he still is. But Jim is a big time car guy.
What time will you be dropping off on Tues?

 

Right now I think it'll be my wife dropping it off, probably around 7:30 - 8:00am, depending.
