Default Delaware Valley answer me this.

Not s2k related but I'm very curious to know why I've seen several houses in the area with large stars mounted on the peaks of houses. anyone know why?

Old lightning rods? Are these older homes? Are there large greenish cable or wires attched to these stars?

no they are on the sides of the houses right below the peak. I've noticed alot of them in the chester county and valley forge areas.

rev-hi isnt exactly wrong... If they're what I think you're talking about, they are nothing more then a decoration for the house... its a new trend, kinda countryish... I know a place that sells em

Old houses with pitched roofs sometimes have little decorative "things" on them to catch leaves and whatnot from ending up in the gutters, but I dont think this is what you are describing
