Anyone know if I can pass inspection in PA with having a test pipe on.. I have the flashpro so I am not throwing an CEL but I can't remember if we do the sniffer in PA in the tail pipe.. Please help also if you know someone that will pass me please pm me.

we don't do the sniffer test, just the ODBII plug in test. My mechanic says if there isnt check engine light, he doesn't look...

Agreed. But ............ they are supposed to do a "visual". So, if they don't put the car on a jack to remove a wheel to check ur brakes, you're good.

I passed with a TP for 4 years. There are some counties in PA (rural) that do a sniffer. At least they used to. Most of the populated counties just do OBDII. No CEL should be fine. Unless, like Freq said, they do a visual check.

The garage on Eisenhower next to the exxon will pass you. He did mine about a month ago and he knew it had a tp on it. He said it passed on the computer so he didn't care. $43 for inspection and emissions.
