I'm planning on leaving Friday mid-morning. It's about a 5 hour drive for me, straight out on the PA Turnpike. I'm actually not going the entire distance though. I'll be staying at my sister's on Friday night, who is North of town, but about 30 minutes (?) East of the track. I think its one or two exits earlier on the turnpike.

My guess is that an organized thread will develop in a few weeks to keep track. This one already has several topics intermingled.
Gary
That looks like arounfd the same time and course I'll be going.

Most tracks only require a snell 2000 helmet. As long as it has passed this certification it doesn't matter if it is for a car or a bike.
Paul, I would like to believe what you are saying as the truth but, I would HATE to get there and be turned away because our helmets are M2000 not SA2000. Check this thread.

.....and this SNELL Link.

SOMEBODY PLEASE, give me a definite answer already.

I am also waiting with baited breath.

Rick has sent me an email and he is trying to get an answer from the track, he will post as soon as he hears from them.

Rick has posted a thread in the Fall Colors Forum titled: The Last Word On Helmets.

M2000 Rated helmets will be allowed.

Guys, I will be attending also, I plan to leave on Friday morning from Allentown. Let me know if anybody else has the same plan. Hey Joe, Do you have any extra helmets that are SA 2000 ??? I am about to buy one. The last helmet I had was a Bell for my bike in 1980! still have the wife's old one.

trich, the helmets DO NOT need to be SA2000, although they can be, they can also be M2000.

Anything less than 2000 WILL NOT cut it.

We have lots of helmets.
