Default Finally rode in an S!

I checked out a fellow DelVal member who isn't really active as of recent. It's a MY'00 BB. This was the first time I had ever been seen an S2k and actually was able to check it out and ride in it!

It was an amazing experience even though I was only in the passenger seat, a lot better than I expected out of a 9 year old car. It did not feel cheap at all like other Hondas. The ride was smooth and stiff for a 9 year old car, felt better than my girlfriend's new '08 Mazda 3. The car only had I/H/TP/E and it was amazingly quick (for me it was) and I was honestly scared for my life as he was hitting V-tec in the busy Roosevelt Blvd tonight but his brakes were so good that the car stopped quickly even from the high speed. Not to mention the sound of the intake/exhaust was orgasmic, even at low RPMs. I wish it wasn't so dark and cold when we were riding in it. I didn't drool over it as much as I wanted. The only problem with the car was the top had small rips that didn't leak but the owner was afraid of tearing it more so he hadn't taken the top down in over a year!!!

Anyways, just wanted to share my feelings on this experience. You guys might have this experience all the time and it's no big deal, but to me this was the first time I got to ride in the car of my dreams. I can't stop thinking about the car even more now than I did before.

you can get one for less then a price of a new honda fit these days, just save yourself a nice down payment and stay ticket free and you'll easily have one for less then 450 a month incl insurance. oh and keep a beater, your insurance will be MUCH cheaper.

Yeah I would love to pay for the S month by month, but I would rather buy from a private seller than a dealer. I wish private sellers could finance me! :[ I guess I have to look extra hard for a REALLY cheap S.

you dont have to look that hard, if you take two minutes on craigslist you will find one. if you're looking to get a good deal on one then you better act fast, as soon as the weather breaks in favor for the top to be doen the prices will remain firm. call any local dealer to see if they have one on the lot, and go make a deal.

Good luck!
