Default fluids?

called honda dealer today to get a price on the mtf since i'm now in school and in manual trans class everyone wants to work on my car so we are changing out all the fluids i just need to know how much tranny fluid to buy and diff fluid. dealer told me 3 qt's of tranny fluid and 2 for the diff but after saying that also told me that the diff fluid doesn't matter what i put in so it's making me a little hesitant to go get all this stuff if i don't need that much. i'm putting in mobile 1 75w90 in the diff just not sure if i need just one or two qts. and i'm gonna put in the honda mtf do i need 3 qts? thanks

2qts MTF and 1qt Diff Fluid. Either way no matter how much you buy chances are you will not overfill the tranny or diff. Just fill until the fluid starts to come out of the fill hole and let it level off and screw the fill plug back in and you're good to go.

One quart in the diff, I just did mine. Not sure on the trans, having honda due the trans, I like to get it in there once in a while to show my face, in case I ever have trouble they have some service records.

Are you enrolled in Lincoln Tech or something like that? I'd be hesitant to have everyone in the class wrenching on my car...
