Well we just wrapped up what could possibly be our most memorable summer ever. Michele is feeling great and is close to her goal weight. She is weighing in at 130lbs now and pretty soon she will get mad at me for letting everyone know how much she weighs
Michele is casually looking for a job. She is going to also volunteer for the Gift of Life Foundation this group helps bring awareness for organ donation. She is a gifted public speaker and is going to share her story with others to try to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation. Also University of Penn. Hospital has asked her and Kristen to be a part of a video on liver living donor program that they offer at HUP as well as speaking at there many seminars for people who are currently considering this new and exciting operation.
When Michele was released from the hospital she had a goal to spend the weekend after Memorial Day at a Bed and Breakfast in Cape May, New Jersey. We made the reservations in May not knowing what her recovery was going to be. Well as you know it is a miracle, we walked the beach road bikes strolled thru the shops and had a couple great dinners, it was a fantastic weekend and one we will not soon forget.
Here are some pics of our weekend....
