Well today Kristen got to see my wife for the first time since April 27th...... and it was a very nice day, even though family has told her how well she was doing and she reads this thread she was so impressed with her progress. here's a pic of the two of them from today.
Oh and how bout the matching scars
what you can't see is how far the scar goes up. My wife's scar goes all the way up her chest and Kristen's just a bit lower. Kristen was stitched up with disappearing stitches while my wife had over 100 staples for about 2 months then had to have them removed one by one.... ouch! on each side of my wife's scar you see two little scars, that's where the two drains were poking out of her body draining fliuds into a clear hand grenade size recepticle. These would have to be drained a couple times a day and finally removed a little over two months after surgery.
hehe that's our cousin Dan..... I think he is blowing a booger out his nose hey what can you do when there is no tissue around...... tell me you guys never did this
