FS: 2002 Hardtop Turbo Berlina Black/Red
Well S2ki, it’s been a long run – but the time has come for me to let my baby go.
I purchased this car in stock form from Kay Honda in Eatontown New Jersey about 7 years ago with 33,XXXk on the odometer for around $25,000. Ever since day one, the car has been meticulously maintained and never abused. It served as my daily driver throughout college and turned into a weekend toy upon graduation when I moved to NYC. During this time (the past 3 years) the car has been kept in a garage, under a cover in New Jersey and was only taken out about once a month and only in perfect weather.
A good portion of that time was also spent on the turbo build, in which the car sat on jack stands for 6-8 months. The build was completed by myself, along with expert assistance from the infamous Minitoyota, Rob! and many other household names here on S2ki. All of the turbo parts were purchased brand new (I am former employee of the turbo manufacturer). No expense was spared (see turbo build thread below) – the turbo build alone cost well over $10k.
It has always been my dream to have a clean, hardtop/turbo Berlina but it’s impractical for me to keep it; I never drive it, and it would make someone else very happy.
I know this car inside and out and will be able to answer any questions you may have in this thread
***I have EVERY stock part from this car that I have taken off (except for the softop) ALL OF WHICH WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SALE (bring a truck there’s a lot of stuff from wheels to a/c system, every nut and bolt, exhaust etc.)***
***Car will be sold with fresh oil and a fresh set up plugs***
***Test drives only with cash in hand – this thing is fast and I don’t want you to be the first one to crash it***
*** The car has seen the drag strip and autocross on ONE occasion each, both back in 2005 when the car was basically stock***
