woah man, nice zapco amps, they look huge. I used to have the Alpine MRV1507 and I thought that was a HUGE amp, my PG xs4600 and Premier prs-x720 are tiny compared to those.

I guess I should update a little bit...
Duc shipped my amuse-replica lip and that should be here hopefully by 3/11/03 (according to the tracking #.

eclipse pointsource install and calipers painted will be done this weekend.

new! AEM w/ bypass was purchased and hopefully will reach me by Fri so I can install this weekend also.

I might also get on that tanabe NF group buy from evo, but not sure if I can do the $$$ and install it by the show; so that might have to wait.

What are the amps rated at? Both mine are underrated, this is what the box says... My PG xs4600 is 75x4 or 300x2 and the PRS-X720 is 125x2 or 250x1. The prsx720 actually makes 720x1 @4ohm. Too bad it's all in my Suby and not my s2k

nice, did you buy the amps from the shop or did you go the internet route? I can't stand how most audio places will sell at retail prices and give you only very little break even if you're getting thousands of dollars worth of equipment installed. I think the only company you're screwed on buying from car audio dealers is eclipse because they don't have ANY authorized internet dealers, so in the end i've found that buying online will save you a ton of money and if you DO want to get it installed at a shop, they usually only charge you like $5 more an hour for labor for stuff that wasn't bought at their shop.

Dont get me started on my opinion on this! Urghh!!!!!

Ok soapbox here we come! This is only my opinion and .02 cents worth! Please DO NOT take this as a flame as you are free to shop and buy from whoever you choose to support!

Being a small business owner myself, and knowing whats involved in trying to complete with online resellers who do not have a level playing field.

I believe a retail store/merchant deserves to make a fair price for a product which he has paid for, stocks, pays electric to light/heat the showroom, takes time with customers on the floor (away from a possible install job) and MANY MANY more factors which unlevel the market towards online sales.

Also if more and more people subscribe to the buy online theory and get someone to install it. Its only a matter of time before quality work shops begin to jack up their labor rates to make up for lost sales. So in the end once again the consumer will lose!

That being said, yes, I ALWAYS buy my stereo equipment from the shop who has done all my work on all my cars for the last 10 years. Is his price the lowest, NO, but I am willing to make that small concession for the quality work he does. I am also supporting my local economy which makes me feel good!

Again this is by no means a just my little .02 cents worth! Sorry I was long winded but its my nature cant help it!
