going to start a new meet
i've been thinking a lot and i've seen about 15 s2000's in the area so i've decided to start a weekly little meet. i'm not expecting a lot of attendance during the winter time. but my friends and i like to go to this little bar right off of 611 called big heads. they have started to build the place up and make it not so gloomy because doylestown is killing their business. they have 2 pool tables some arcades/darts and the bartender heidi is super cute and makes mean captain and cokes. the prices are cheap and they also have food. you can smoke in this bar. we usually go on fridays because it's the last day of the work week for most and it's a good time for drinks. i'm going to try and get a round about head count for people that would be interested and if i can get enough i'll talk to the owner and see if he will cut us drink deals for helping him build business. i've talked to them about starting a weekly car meet but with the wedding and the holidays we haven't been able to go to the bar. but anyone near the doylestown area that wants to go just let me know. and if others feel the need to drink and want to drive out you are more than welcome to. i think i'm going to try to get this started the week after MWG!

it's not mandatory every week but as long as we can get every other week so we can keep people alive on the site through the winter months. i met a guy today that just sold his S a few months ago because he couldn't find anyone to ride around with that also had an S. i told him he didn't try very hard. i used to live in pottstown i think if you took the turnpike it would take you about an hour to get here. i always took 663 up through quakertown and then 313 all the way to 611.
i like the bar and don't want it to shut down because i don't like the crowds at the doylestown bars. it's better during the summers because the parking lot is kind of big and the winter people start heading towards doylestown and frees up parking spots
