Got a speeding ticket in PA
i'm 99% sure what the officer has told you is true. i've received one of these "failure to obey an officially posted speed limit sign" and had a similar fine in PA. a fine for $109 is rather cheap (ask me how i know
) and is probably the cheapest you will get for a moving violation, so i would just pay it and be done.

He was actually doing you a favor when he wrote it up as "failure to obey" because there are no points associated with that violation, unlike with speeding tickets in PA. And $109 is pretty much the lowest it goes for PA traffic citations.

31 11 A is no points, your good. Thats what all my tickets get dropped to ... most of the time.
im pretty sure points dont carry across state lines so i dont think it matters what ticket you got, if you dont live in the state you got the ticket in, which you dont, then you should be fine. Not 100% sure but pretty close

So I got a speeding ticket in PA (Schuylkill Co) the other day. Cop said he'd reduce it to "failure to obey an officially posted speed limit sign". He told me there are no points associated with it, though the cost is $109.50

he assured me there r 0 points!
