Typical mother style - I emailed some pics to mine and her response was "It's soooo cute - when can I borrow it?"

BTW, hit 600 miles today. OMG. 9000RPM owns. Took my salesman at Price for a ride and he was just giggling the whole time. Now all I have to do is get used to the throw on the shifter - it's sooo much tigher than my last car. Friendly rolling start run tonight on one of our numerous deserted back roads against that chameleon Saleen from around here. I tried to avoid it, saying how I'm not used to driving the car yet... We were dead even in first, I started to pull ahead in second, then I shifted to fifth instead of third. Still not bad though; he's around 300hp and just had a set of 3.90 gears installed this week...

Who was your salesman btw, just out of curiousity... Yeah I've seen that Saleen around a few times, there are a bunch of Saleens in the area, 2 black ones and another red/black one... Too bad you blew it , would have made for some nice bragging...

As for seeing your s2k yeah I'm going to have to find your house and hide in your bushes stalking it...

What time did you see my car? Because my mom felt it was her obligation to take it out all day when I was working...

Saw it around noon, then again around one pm. I was pulling out of my driveway (I live right on 24) and she went past.

I spent three hours between yesterday and today "playing" to get a feel for the car, the shift pattern, the power delivery, etc. A rematch with the Saleen is slated for next weekend, and it shouldn't be a problem to beat it. I was pulling in first and second, then when I finally got into third started closing the gap but shut it down.

My salesperson is Jerry in the Acura building - we bought a 2002 RSX-S from him as well (my fiance's car, the one @ http://blackrsx.onlineshowoff.com/ ).

Oh yeah, she had my car and my Visa Quickcheck card, 1 hour may not seem like alot, but when shopping is a sport to someone, they make the most of it...

I live off of 24 myself, 2 miles down on the second Rt. 5, where the fire house is... I'd love to see you take on that Saleen (yes, I'm inviting myself) if possible...

I'm guessing I'll probably set something up for next weekend with him. He's going to Cecil County Dragway next Saturday with some of the other Mustang crew, but I'm not down with the drive just to have a quick run against one car (plus I refuse to launch the car - rolling start only).

Soon as I find out, I'll let you know. Regardless, you need to take a ride in mine and let me tag along with you in yours to get a feel for the difference. Raced my friend's 330ci tonight (relatively quick car) and just had three-four car lengths on him by the time I shifted to third and backed off. Too funny.
