Sorry, flame me if you'd like but Pat's and Geno's is like "country fair cheesesteaks", no thanks. I'll take a Five Guys Burger instead.
Anyway, Sal's pizza at the kmart shopping center on Tilghman has bangin cheesesteaks. Maybe it was the extra cheese I got, but it was sure yummy.

I don't really like Pat's/Gino's, but I am from South Jersey and have a refined palette unlike the heathens living in Philadelphia who get their drinking water straight out of the Schuylkill River.
Jims is some shit right along with pat and gino's, before the angry mob breaks down my door stop by JOHN's_http://www.johnsroastpork.com/

I've firmed up our reservations for this trip. Definitely arriving Philly (Westin Philadelphia) on Fri, June 19 noonish. Leaving Sun, June 21. Will be seeing all the sights, Duck Tour, Italian Market, a couple of cheesesteak places. Looking forward to it! Thanks again for your recommendations.
Firming up plans...will do Duck Tour on Fri (19th) pm, then have dinner at Alma de Cuba with friends. Sat will be the Italian Market in the morning, lunch at Jim's on South (probably) then all the historical sights up close and personal in the afternoon. Sat night dinner open so far. Sun we leave whenever we feel like it.
Should be a nice trip.
