Anyone interested in doing the group thing at HIN? Del Val used to do this a couple years back and always won best group.

it may be a little harder with winning the best group, hin now has tighter restrictions on people who enter, you have to have rims and be lowered. i know the last hin we did we tied with the subaru group so there is more competition with the groups.

organizing it is a pita too me and mike had our hands full back in the day when we would organize the group hin's.
i would be down but i dont have rims, and dont think i will have them by may 12

Those are stupid requirements. I can't lower my car with the offsets I have unless I wanted crazy tire wear

However, I would be down for it if there was some way to get around the lowering requirment.

You have the same wheels as me, Im lowered. A stiff coilover and rolled fenders will keep you from rubbing.

I dont know if group entrys require mods. From the last 2 HIN's shows Ive been to, seems they are short on cars and wouldnt mind.

You can lower your car 2'' all the way around and run a euro alignment and be fine.

Or if it's easy to lower (if you have adjustables on already) then just go there and slam it, then raise it when it's time to go home.

o boy, now your giving me ideas!

I'll be heading up to collision autobody in a month or 2 to get the fenders rolled, after that, time to look for some springs / coilovers

i was just on hins website trying to find more info on the restrictions and couldnt find any, but then again there really isnt any info on the site. i had read about the restrictions in the cali forum, the s2k group did hin a couple weeks ago and had mentioned about the stock rims and lowerering so i am not sure if it was just in that area or all around, so someone may want to call and find out.
but i had heard rumors about them being pickier about the cars they let in last year also so im no sure.
