Default I just don't understand

I just do not understand why people have to destroy what they can't have, or deem to be something nice that is not their own. I went out to my car this morning to venture on my daily drive to work. As always, checking the rear and front of the car to see if anyone had backed into or hit my car. Checking the rear, everything looks good. As I move to the front of the car I notice that there appear to be smudge marks all over the hood of the car. As I get closer, I now come to the realization that some F#*king A$$hole keyed the hood of my car. Not once, but all over the thing. In circle patterns, straight lines, around the front emblem, everywhere. Why ???????????????? I just don't understand. I'm nothing but consciensus of others as a driver and a person. What would make someone commit an act of this nature ?

At this point I have had enough. I have had things thrown at the car, things spilled on it, dried spit on the windows. This is the last time my car sees Philly. The car will now be staying at my parents house, located outside of the city. I am now forced into buying another car to get me to and from my house. I'm literally sick to my stomach.

Sorry to hear that. I think that is one of my worst fears when I park in a dodgy area.
I think the line from Pulp fiction suits this best when he says it would be worth having it done just to catch the person who did it. "never touch another man's automobile"

I am so sorry to hear your misfortune! Where do you park it?
I have lived in the city for almost 4 years and have been relatively fortunate (knocking on wood) I ONLY Have had my spiffy valve caps stolen TWICE???

I live in the up and coming Northern Liberties area. 2nd and Poplar, four doors down from The Standard Tap. With all the people getting hit in the face w/ bricks over the past two weeks, I guess it could have been worse. Up and coming meaning, " look up, there's a brick coming towards your head ".

Not too far away from my hood. Do you park on the street?

I'm sorry to hear that. I never understood the need some folks have to damage other people and/or their property. Maybe the guy is your local CF hood dealer and is looking for some business.

I did park on the street. Now it'll be in my parents garage out in Bucks County. Unfortunately with there only being recent new development of the neighborhood, there aren't any garages within walking distance. When I had my last car and lived across from the Art Museum, I never had a problem with vandalism. Hmmmm, CF hood.

man sorry to hear about that some people are just jealouse of what they know they can never have because they dont have enough ambition to make it happen...so they have to make themselves feel better about it by destroying others who have worked and earned what they own.....
ive had a girl spit on my windows once after i wsahed my baby...put it this way she hasnt come within 25 ft of my car ever since and that was over a year and a half ago....
go for the carbon fiber hood they look hot!

....that surely sucks. Good luck with the fix... does CF scratch

I think about this as I park my car around 23rd and Arch every day. Luckily the parking lot is behind chain link fence and has flood lights afterdark... no problems so far in >2.5 yrs. Maybe Mike's "protection men" are also surveilling my 'hood

(Geez, Mike... I should have said "M/fcrkrs put a bunch of scratches in my front and rear bumpers..." )

This is a shot of Mike handing over the monthly "protection $$" to the mafia dude:
