Looks like most of the damage done was only to the clearcoat. Just a couple were really deep and penetrated the finish. I purchased Maguires Scratch-X from Pep Boys on my way home from work. Cleaned the areas and applied. One coat, looks better. Two coats, I like where this is going. Third coat, I am thoroughly impressed at how well the product has seemingly made a majority of the damage dissappear. I feel a lot better that the damage turned out not to be as severe as I first thought. Even so, that was the last time she visits me downtown.
Now begins the search for a dependable second car that I don't have to worry about every time I leave it unattended. I'm looking to spend a max of $4k. I've been thinking early to mid nineties Corolla's, Civic's, Camry's and Accords. Any other suggestions ?

Civic would do it for me. You should check out the Sunday Inquirer.... that section at the end of the Auto section: Cars Under $5K... would give an idea of what's out there. Let us know what you decide.

Glad to hear the damage may all be fixable
