Anyway, just upgraded to 3.0. I gave up my jailbreaking temporarily to use the new firmware. Jailbreaking tools and unlocking tools should be out soon for 3.0, but for the moment, I'm running 3.0. I've hacked the carrier settings to enable MMS & Tethering.

We should have an iphone jailbreaking/unlocking meet. hehe. If you're using att, just doing a stock upgrade won't give you MMS and Tethering yet...

i downloaded 3.0 today but forgot to choose to backup my apps or songs, so i lost all of my apps and songs now too haha

i'll be down for a jailbreak/unlock meet. i really don't want to switch to ATT. i'm grandfathered into a pretty cheap plan with t-mobile.

since t-mo's 3g network is different from at&t's, i can always buy a used 2g iphone. but there's so many scams on unlocked iphones on CL and ebay.

if i could do it in person w/ a bunch of people that would be great
