Just stopped by
to say hello to the S2000 guys in the area.
Some of you guys were going to hook up with some of the LVMOC crew for a spirited run this past season but the timing never worked out. We did have one member join us in a tamer event, our annual wine run, and as I recall, he managed to stock up on some wine.
Perhaps next season we can connect? We have some great roads in the valley that we like and would love to share them with you.
Not sure of your posting rules so I won't put the link up for our .net site unless someone says it's OK.
Meanwhile for those who drive your cars year'round like me, drive safe and we hope to see you in the spring.

Louis,
I had the post moved where it made sense.
Jackson - Louis is the president of the Miata club in Lehigh Valley. The clubs don't line up great with ours, but us and Metro are the closest. They have enough people to have a DV club and LV club. They have some interaction between the groups.
The track day that several of us went to was a DV event. The wine run in the Poconos was a LV event.
The word on the street is that the LV runs have some great roads. I think the last JFO, Freq event was some of those roads.

The winter is usually slow for us in DV. The mid-winter gathering is the big event, but not S2K required. If the weather is nice, the S's will be there, and maybe a little drive.
There could be some impromptu stuff this winter. Again, I think it depends on the weather. On a nice sunny, 40 degree day, you could see a 'Lets drive today' thread, but thats about it.
For me, personally, my car is going to Mom's garage for the winter, since her car will be in Florida. That means my other car gets my garage, and I won't have to deal with scraping windows.
Other than a periodic visit to start it and drive a few minutes, my car will see very little road time until the end of March this winter.
