Default LEHIGH VALLEY RUN

UPDATE 7:50am Sunday morning:
We have CLEAR sky's and lots of SUN here in the Lehigh Valley this morninig. It is CHILLY so if you plan on running topless like me make sure you have nice warm clothes; including a hat, baseball caps probably aren't the best, gloves, and a anything else to keep you and your passanger warm.
I plan on getting to the parking lot around 9:15 but if anyone is going to be early please call my cell number and I will run down and meet you, I'm only 5 min. away. Otherwise I will see everyone soon.

Don't Forget the LEHIGH VALLEY RUN is THIS weekend. Pray for GOOD Weather.

OK, It's been a while since I first posted this and I realize that plans change. SO, please post a confirmation of whether you will be in or out on Sunday so I will have a good idea of the number of cars we're going to have. Thanks.

OK, looks like we have enough people interested to make this happen. Of course anyone else is welcome to join in. We'll try for Sunday, OCTOBER 22nd at around 10:00 or maybe a little earlier if people can get here sooner. We will be meeting just south of were 78 and Rt. 309 meet around Allentown. I will post exact directions as the date draws closer. BTW, I did this route last Sunday, it clocked in at just about 75 miles/less than half a tank of gas but I didn't keep track of how long it took.

OK OK, Give a guy a break. This is my first time doing this so bare with me.
We will be meeting at this address: 1502 S. 4th St. Allentown, PA 18103. This is a K-Mart parking lot which might be a little busy so when you enter the lot turn to the left and there should be plenty of open spaces in the back of the lot. If anyone have difficulties with this address or directions please let me know and I will post another address close by or PM you directions from a major road.

We will be ending our run at Pickle Rest. in Emmaus, a MUCH safer place than dirty ol' run down Allentown. Pickles has a regular seating area and a nice bar area with lots of table. They also have TV's to catch a glimpse of heyitsgary at the Brazilian GP.

Here is our current potential participant list:

If the roads are even a quarter of how they were on the new hope run, you can DEF count me in!

Eric, definitly interested, first run at new hope loved it! You can count me in, but I am schedualed to work both those days, if you get a final date, and I will amost definitly get around it

Side note, shopping for exhaust Invidia is one of few that has something for 06's love the sound of yours, just too much volume for everyday, Invidia offers silencer baffles, any experience with them? are they something you can take on and off? Thanks

Tim, good to hear your back and glad to hear you'll be able to join us. I might stop over to John's this weekend for a bit. Be ready to hear all about the front splitter we made for his S. It is pretty cool though. See ya soon Tim.

Invidia offers baffles but I don't have any experience with them. Be fore-warned, after about an hour of driving the exhaust can give you a headache. Even so, I love the sound.

As he said, there are baffles. Of course, I've never used them and are still in the packaging They come right off via a little bolt in the bottom

Although, I have yet to get a headache from the exhaust. I guess it depends on your tolerence to noise.

I do think, however, the system sounds louder from behind the car then actually in the car (since behind your right in the firing path for the noise) so you might want to get a ride in it (if you havn't) before you completly decide.

If not, a T1R sparrow might sound like a good pick for you
