I am looking in the $3500-4000 range.

 

There are some great cars to be had in that price range. There is a used car dealer in NJ that has some good deals on the Philly craigslist. Do a search for this "location: nj" quotes an all. Most of his cars have higher mileage but they are in good shape. I've looked a few volvo's years back. Decided to pass as I bought a Progete5 as my DD. I'm thinking about selling the Protege5 but I'll be asking above 5K for it though.

I've bought 90% of my cars from owners but that one in Jersey always has pretty good deals. I flew to Ohio to pick up my S last year.

 

I have a 94 sentra 5 speed about 130k on it i would ask near 5k tho prob 1300 if i did sell new clutch at 92k was slipping bad for some reason. other than that its a wonderful beater.

I have a 1992 Sentra SE-R (140HP, 2.0l DOHC with 7500rpm redline, 5spd, LSD, 4 wheel disk brakes, etc) that I am contemplating selling because I have no room for it. It has 137,000 original miles. Pretty much all-original condition and still very fun to drive.

I am the second owner and have owned it for about 9 years. It is perfect mechanically, and I have proactively replaced a bunch of parts over the past 2 years (lots of rubber bushings, boots, and gaskets that start to break down on a 18 year old car...). The only problem is cosmetic. the factory paint has seen better days, and it's starting to rust all the usual places that a Sentra does. No holes yet though. It has two sets of stock wheels - one with summer tires, one with snow tires (it is unstoppable in the snow with the snow tires and the LSD.)

I would be looking for maybe $2500.
