damn i just sold my 91 accord for $300. it needed about $300 in replacement parts since i got in a small accident (hood, rad support, headlight, radiator)

Don't the saturns from that era have major problems with cracked heads or something?

everyone i've known with a saturn has had a bunch of problems. i rarely see the old ones on the road, so i cant imagine they lasted that long...

What price range are we talking about? Sub $4000? The Saturns are pretty reliable and very cheap. Check out Nissan Sentras too. They are reliable and much cheaper than comparable Hondas or Toyotas. Mazda Proteges are a good value too and pretty fun to drive, but not as cheap as the Sentras or Saturns are.

If you need to haul a bunch of junk and are not too concerned about fuel economy, used Ford Explorers are crazy cheap.
