I agree that the good $ and portable skills are worthwhile. Those $$ depend on what/where you are willing to do....lifestyle choices, I guess. My wife works as a parish nurse, a newer specialty (health advisor/wellness educator/ spiritual counselor)....loves it....which is good b/c she earns <$20/hr PT. OTOH, my dtr earns about $25/hr in an underserved area of Boston....works PT for expense money while in grad sch. Yes, both could make more....but they made a choice for job satisfaction.

Man, good luck guys. IT is really taking a hit, my bro graduates next year and I'm crossing my fingers for him. I don't believe that the economy is getting better either, I think the govt is just blowing smoke up our butts. The nurses are lucky b/c they are really making out with the shortage, funny, not too long ago there was such a glut of nurses and their pay was pretty bad. Good luck guys, if it helps, my friend really likes his IT job at Chrysler in Hatboro area. Maybe you can apply there, other places I've heard people getting jobs in IT are in pharmaceutical companies. If you work at Chrysler, you can get a nice discount on a Benz to go with the S.

I'm actually applying to West Chester Infinity. I keep hearing dealerships are the way to go.
