Default New Exhaust!

I have done a lot of research over the last 4 mo. And, have heard many of your exhausts. Ive come up with the T1R sparrow 63mm dual, nice tone of the HKS but a bit more aggressive. Good quality, full SS. Good gains (6-8), and only 30lbs.
Now, I find that there is a 70mm version, according to a member and authorized dealer (not delval) the 70mm version is good for +4 hp over the 63mm, N/A. Tradeoff is a bit louder, and a bit more drone, and is $100more (not really a factor). Plus If I decide to go F/I it will suit it well. Im torn! What would you guys choose?????

70mm since its dual.

I have a single 63mm and I love it. Im not sure if I would switch to 70mm or not.

I haven't chosen because I don't know if I'll be able to go FI either! However I am leaning towards a Trust single Ti as it is probably the quietest single with very little drone.

Trust as in Greddy?

Any single exhaust you buy will be loud. Drone depends on if theirs a resonator and test pipe or not. Im pretty sure the ASM 70mm is pretty quiet.

I'd go with the 70mm dual. Do you get a testpipe with it as well?

alot of the 70mm exhaust do not come with test pipes because a 70mm test pipe wont bolt up to most after market headers.

you gotta research it out. A & J racing sells the t1r test pipes. If im not mistaken they do make a version for the 70mm sparrow, but im not sure if it will bolt to the oem header or not.

Yep, had a Greddy on my prelude and loved the sound, real deep and smooth. And of course singles are going to be loud, I'm just looking for a relatively quiet one (don't something like a veilside that is going to wake the whole town up.)

I'm trying to find local people who have them, but not many people have Ti singles around here so it's a bit hard. Oh well I've got a ways to go anyway, I may end up waiting until I get turboed before I get an exhaust.

The guy Ive been talking to, about the T1R just sent me a pm, thought I might be interest in a dual Greddy that was just released, EVO 2 for the S. Greddy makes some nice stuff but, Im not going to drop 1G on an Exhaust and hope that I like it. He also said Greddy was about to release a turbo kit for the S very shortly!
(My kids college funds may be in danger real soon!)
