Got home around 10 after 600 miles of driving. The car is in the garage. I am tired now. I'll post something up tomorrow. Looking again at things, it looks like the Megan toe arm and possibly the shock are bent as well. Thanks for the offers on help guys I will see what all needs to be replaced and then procure the parts, then I'll tap into your repair skills for the rest. The car is a bitch to get on the trailer due to that wheel not spinning. Maybe I can host a tinkfist repair party down here? Of course there will be beer and the like.

<--- Can't wait to get back on track

Tom,

Those Megan toe links are inexpensive or you still have your originals. Maybe you can get a set of stock shocks inexpensive from someone installing JDM. I have a set of 04 but I would like to get a decent price for them.

Go to Harbor Freight and buy those cheap wheel dollies, they sell them in pairs. Put the car on those and you should be able to roll it around and winch it up on a trailer no problem. <--read---the repair guys don't want to travel to do the repairs, you bring your heap of "junk" to us and we will fix it. oh, and we will drink your beer too. I have wheel dollies you can borrow if Erik is going to go down and pick up the car.

John

PS Any thoughts on committing insurance fraud? Have someone delete the thread and ditch the car somewhere, simple.

Those Megan toe links are still straight as an arrow and the end joints still rotate freely I am hoping that a local has an AP1 suspension lying around that is willing to help a brotha out

Everything from the rear axle to the lug nuts is out of the car, so there is nothing to put a wheel dolly on. Sorry repair guys I'd like to have the car rolling this weekend, so John, will you be around tomorrow night for me to purchase a lower control arm from you? I'll bring a ball joint puller and some video from this weekend Let me know.

Insurance fraud? Nah, they are not finding out about this one. I have plans for the body damage that I am mulling over.

Here are some pics with random captions from the weekend:

Track layout

Track wear

Track shots

Marc Epstein's S2000, after a 110mph crash at Watkins Glen and $5000 worth of repairs. A self proclaimed "checkbook racer"

My roommate and paddock buddy, Tom, crumpled a bit of his S4 about 20 minutes after my accident It was good to experience our first track crashes with each other.

The damage
