Onto the interior!
BUT... the Focals... OMG, they sound excellent. I was worried with the positioning of the tweet being the way it was, but it's a HUGE difference over the stock stuff. Sad thing is, I'm only running at half power - I'm short a couple of cables, so I couldn't switch the amp to bridged mode for the set.

Just used an air dremel to get rid of the factory grill on the OEM tweeter pod. Aside from that, nothing was invasive.
Hardest part about doing the door speakers was running new wires through the loom - I refuse to cut factory wiring when installing a stereo; I run my own, that way switching back to stock is really easy.

Well, one down, one to go... Yes, it is "looser" than the factory cover, but it's also about twice as thick. It's also much softer leather - the black and red matches the new shift boot perfectly. Roughly 2.5 hours to do one seat (first is always the hardest). Picture is just after install - the seat needs moisturized in a big way, but i'm out of leather conditioner.

Ryan,
can you explain a few things ? I havn't completely followed your installation. I like the color combo very much.
Did you buy a "kit" to install on the seats / door ?
Does it cover your old seats ?
Did you have to sew the seats / door ?
thanx

It was a kit - a combo of some stuff that was available and spare pieces to come up with the pattern shown in mine. Took quite a bit of time to pin down the details and pricing, but a ton of colors are available (aside from just red/black).
I removed the OEM upholstery and put the new stuff on - not hard to do at all. Same thing on the doors - removed the old black panels and glued the new stuff down.
Some pieces of the kit I pieced together did have to be sewn; a local trim shop handled that part (in an hour - very simple stuff, just requires the right sewing equipment).
I'm looking at doing a group buy on the interior package when mine is done and I can do a thorough write-up and show the finished product with pictures. I also want some other S2000 owners to check it out; that way it's not just my word but the opinion of some others.
