Default Ordered 04 today

Well, I took the plunge. I ordered an 04 Silverstone with black/red interior and a nice group of options to compliment it. Got if through Jeff (Hardtopguy) at Ganley Honda much less than the local dealers here. Wouldnt deal with current dealer here anymore if he was the last Honda dealer on earth. Top and Engine nightmares proved his worthlessness. Anyway, enough of that. I will be flying out to meet Jeff @ Cleveland Municipal airport, sign the papers, spend the night at his house (talk about service) and drive home early the next morning (7 to 8 hour drive, perfect for break-in) Looking at delivery around 4/8 tentatively. Posted my 2000 for sale in the Car for Sale format and will advertise locally which is where I have sold most of my cars. I like the new redesign and options and just cant get away from silverstone. Thought the red/black interior with Ricks Red/black wheel would spice up the interior over my current black. Should be all ready for Spring and seeing you guys again. Hopefully, I can see more of you at Fall Colors this year as last year was a disaster (blown engine) 2 weeks before event.

Just don't forget about that Super Sprint Exhaust. I believe Paulie's got dibs, but if he's changed his mind I'll take it off your hands.

Good deal Ray! We were actually comisserating at the last LWG meet about your engine and that fateful day. And I have to ask because I know you're right down the street from me... is it Union Park you're talking about? I wouldnt say they are the most "helpful." I've had problems with my head gasket due to former work done by another dealer (prior to my ownership) and they have been less then helpful in re-couping any of my out of pocket expense... so now I'm talking with American Honda and the other dealer in VA... mainly because Union Park didn't go to bat for me when I think they should have Anyway Congrats! and enjoy the drive back... should be pleasant!!

I will be happy to disclose the selling price. Yes, Union Park is the dealer I mentioned. They did nothing for me in terms of interceding with the top situation and the engine. I could have gotten the engine for $900 less than they charged but they wouldnt budge. I wrote a letter to their president and AHM about the way a 37 year customer had been treated. No response from the dealership! The usual canned response from AHM (The rep makes the call). The rep for this area is also useless. The extended warranty they sold me is worthless in my opinion. I cant wait to drive into their dealership when I get the 04 and tell them I bought it from a dealer who cares about their customers. Hope I'm not sounding bitter. Live and learn I guess.
