Default Plans for the Winter

Since I finally decided to keep Christine, I plan on doing a few modifications this winter. I'm sure most of you could care less but I'll share anyway.....

Painted Calipers - Decided on Black (already have the kit)

Rick's Badges - Silverstone with a Black S. Was going to get the reverse but didn't want to look TOO much like Charlie(Although the HKS does make you stand out) Should be shipping this week. (Used my gift certificate from Fall Colors for being a group leader)

Door Sills - A silly add on since I don't let my feet touch the sills when I am climbing in and out of her anyway but they were cheap (and on sale)

Triple FIAMM horns - FINALLY replacing that god for saken embarrassing stock horn. Rick is kind enough to help me out with this one since he did it already himself.

One Touch power Windows - A reall cool mod in my opinion. You hook it up to the exisitng power window AND Roof motor and you only have to touch each once for it to go completely up or down. A lazy ass modification but I figured what the hell.

So that is it for now. I'm sure I'll come up with a few more things as the winter progresses.

don't forget the clear side markers and emblem delete, so no mention of the Supersprint exhaust, what's up with that? I painted my calipers black also, not a in your face color but yet hides the hideous bare metal

The Supersprint is on my "Wish List" along with 17" SSR's, AEM CAI and a new and improved front end. I'm just trying not to get too far ahead of myself.

Nice mods you got in store Paulie . Sometimes the littlest craziest things make for a great improvement. As for me i should be receiving my Mugen N-Zero suspension hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I also have the mugen 31.8mm front stabilizer on order to compliment the shocks. I cancelled my order for the mugen exhaust after seeing it in person at the last meet(i wasn't to crazy about the look, i might do the mugen cai instead but gonna hold off until my mind is made up).

In your post above you said you decided to keep your car. Were you thinking about getting rid of your S2000

Charlie i've been contemplating on doing the side S2000 emblem delete for such a long time now for that clean smooth look. How hard is it to take off, once off can you re-apply it if you ever felt the need to do so?

Hey Paul,

Did you mention tires. You have had to get them already or very soon.

Seth (Lightning) was kind enough to sell me his stock 02's. I put the rears on after 32k and the front's after 36k. Not bad huh? I suspect that these won't lst quite as long though. I'm driving much harder AND FASTER then I used to.

Nice mods list Paulie!

I also have black calipers on order from Rick (hopefully arriving soon!) to match my the new "open look" of the SSr's

I also am going to do the auto window thingy when my stereo goes in for its next revision (probably next week).

One nice thing about this is that you can tie it into your key fob to have auto windows down as you approach the car on a hot yucky day. I had this feature on my old Passat! Let me tell you nothing beats getting rid of that blast of heat built up into our japanese ovens!
