Default Question for the bikers in the area.

I was wondering if any of you know of a dealership that allows test-rides? I know that there is at least one a friend mentioned some years ago, but I don't remember which and all of the ones I've asked so far do not.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Martin Motorsports in Boyertown allowed test rides a couple of years ago.

Yes they did. Aren't they Euro-centric though? Or do they now carry Japanese bikes?

Their website makes it seem like they carry Jap bikes. I went with my brother and he was testing out Ducati's and Triumph's.

Most places will let you test ride a used bike or one of the salesman's demos, but they will not let you take out a brand new one.

What are you doing? Did you get bored with the SV already.

Thanks for the info guys.

I am certainly not bored of the SV, but my 2 brother-in-laws are looking at bikes probably the end of this summer so I am thinking about trying out some in-line 4's and some other bikes to see how I like them; then maybe selling the SV to one of them as a good starter bike (hard to convince either of them that a modern 600 isn't the way to go ). Currently the brother that is living with me (along with with wife) has a 11-month old and might not be able to really justify buying a bike right now, so I may be getting a 2nd bike, letting him use the SV and then either sell it to him later, or convert it to a street fighter radical project bike.

There is nothing wrong with them, but they aren't exactly the best choice to learn on, especially for two knuck-heads that are prone to dangerous antics.
