Well on the simple side I would have to say re-wiring the trunk release to ONLY work with the ignition!

On the elaborate side, by far would have to be the DVD/Navigation Alpine unit. It is absolutely phenomenal, very accurate.

Or perhaps Ricks badges!!

i love your dvd/navigation system, mike! it's beautiful! maybe if there is a meet sometime soon i can see it in person...i live about 20 minutes from philly...
as for my S...i don't have too many mods right now...i really like the comptech cold air intake. right now that would have to be my favorite modification. i just received my digrappa brace the other day but i haven't had enough time to install it yet. perhaps after i get that on i will like it best...i'll post my opinions on it once i get it on...i'm sure it will be a great change.

i'd have to say hardtop, as well... but the tires are nice, so's the audio system (i do like that), but rick's leather has increased my comfort, the voodoo knob is ergonomically comfy , the cleared headlights and grille make the front end so much nicer, the spoon intake gives me the benefits of CAI without the obvious look... hmm. i like 'em all.

My vote goes to upgrading the stock tires. Not crazy expensive, either. You can actually go faster if you have better rubber on the wheels. You'll be able to carry more speed into and out of turns, as well as being able to brake later. Plus, you'll be able to let the clutch out faster, resulting in faster acceleration times.

Performance mods are great, but here's one I find indispensable:

Well Zippy, I recommend R compound competition tires, such as the Yokohama AO32 or Kumho Ecsta V700 (there are a couple of others as well). These are the stickiest street legal tires you can buy, and will give you greatly enhanced traction in dry weather as compared to the stock S-02's. They are grouped in a class of tire called 'competition', and offer better traction than any other max or ultra high performance tire.
