What was it about the old bar you didn't like?

Baring in mind that this is going to be on a daily driver it looks like the old bar is a lot more intrusive on the rear view.

What brand is it? so I can look up more pics/specs of it.

The old bar did not have a harness bar, was not SCCA approved, and did not allow me to put my interior back in without extensive cutting. It is very easy to install and actually is less intrusive that the current bar in terms of looking out the back. It is a very solid bar that looks badass if you ask me

How important is it to have SCCA approval in terms of the number of track events that I would qualify to run in next summer?
