I changed my diff fluid this past weekend with ~250 miles on the break in fluid and it came out looking like Silverstone paint The diff plug managed to collect a decent amount of metal as well FYI.

Enjoy the I already noticed my gas mileage plummet, however. Maybe b/c I am still partially in test pilot mode, but the increased revs really add up.

I'm going to bump my original FS thread...thanks for lets me yours

Thanks for the FYI tinky. I won't get excited when I see that goo come out now. You changed it at only ~250 miles? I thought trich said a 600 miles break-in before changing it.........

So did you put in dino oil or synthetic to replace your original break-in oil?

I do but, I work 7:30 - 4 then tonite I valet from 5:45 - til whenever. Sunday night I must be back here at 10:30 PM so I can be in Philly by 1 AM for a cut-over Monday morning.

600 miles, blah. Anything that was going to happen would've happened by now IMO. I put Mobil 1 75W-90 in after the break in
