I have used Stew's Tire Service (not a chain) up my way with good results.

I have also used NTB, they allow customers in their service bay and I watch them like a hawk as well as try to engage the tech in relevant conversation to let them know that these are MY wheels and tires and I'm NOT your average customer.

I've PM'd Nick.

Glad to see you got some spec-c rims

I haven't mounted a set of tires in years, but I had Auto Werx do rims/tires when I was modding and I had no complaints. I might go to this new place that Jackson deals with and recommends though since its close to me. Maybe you should shoot him a text or pm.

I've gotten all my tires mounted and balanced at Creamery Tires in Skippack. They're very friendly. They let me go back and watch the mount the tires onto the wheels...

thanks guys, i went up to creamery yesterday after work and was very impressed, pulled in the serivce bay and a team swarmed the car, had the tires and rims out and the car up on jacks before i knew what was going on, they are a sketchy looking group but very friendly and really show that they care about what they are doing.

going back tonight to have the winter tires mounted on the stock rims, didn't have enough room in the car to take both sets plus the rims.

no tread left, 36,000 miles on stock

turned around the car was up and the old tires off

new on

***edit: so everyone knows this happened like 3-4 years ago when i had my BB '02 S2K, not the car i have now..

i only want to share this story that i experienced when i went to a national tire chain in my local area... obviously the younger kids worked there...this kid got my car and as i watched him work on it..his extremely fat ass girlfriend and her friend came up..he starts like taking ****** forever cuz he's talking to them.

well i just sit there like whatever at least it's getting done and i'm just sitting here relaxing so wtf i don't care...well after a while it starts pissing me off so i'm watching the kid...after he's "done" he lowers the car on the ramp and with his super hefty supreme girlfriend sitting there watching...gets in the car, starts it up..rev's it to redline and clutch dumps it...he peels out of the building and around the corner as i'm watching through the window...right when the car started the front dood came over like wtf is that and seen the whole thing...

the kid walks in the front of the place and i just lost it..i held my temper but i literally cornered him against the wall and the dood at the counter was like, "bro i seen the whole thing, your lucky he doesn't kill you on the spot"...i was so ****** pissed..the kid just kept saying like my foot slipped my foot slipped...

besides that and the overpriced bill the kid put 3 inch truck valve stems on each tire so that they stuck out past the f'ing fender wells...i didn't even make it home before the manager of the place called me up on my cell and started apologizing out his ass..

so i took it back in, got it re-aligned by the top mechanic that works there who actually knew what he was doing and did an insanely good alignment(JFO goes to this guy, or at least used to for his race s2k, if i'd have only knew the first time)...they replaced the shitty 3 inch valve stems with metal ones free of charge.. and still apologized some more...

still..they're lucky as hell i even came back after that bs...but i will say..i really havn't..i never went back to that place since that bs happened...i just don't trust any place that i don't actually know the people who work there..thank god my one buddy now has a tire mount machine..he's the man with it...then i just take my tires to get balanced and i'm good..i don't even let people take the tires off my car anymore...f that..it's not safe
