Though I've only been to a few TST meets and never had any issues they don't seem to have the best reputation.

 

^^ I'm going to expand on what you said,

TST is actually a great group of guys if you hang out with some of the original members. Great group of people, great intentions using their cars for charity fundraisers, and having good safe fun. They can be real helpful on projects the way the s2ki community helps one another. I've supported them and wouldn't hesitate going to any of their meets.

That said, and to John's statement on reputation, as with any group open to the public...some bad eggs show up at occassional meets and ruin the fun for everyone. So while they have some really good chill meets similar to our monthly Tony Luke's, be prepared in the event a group of knuckleheads show up.

But I guess that could happen to us too.

 

I had a feeling about what both of you are saying by reading their forums. Thanks for the input. I don't know if I will go to that meet but I will keep what you said in mind. They also have a monday night meet In broomall that I might check out since it is so close to me. I really hope to be at our next TL meet! (Minus any potential knuckle heads other than the jackass group hahaha) :-p

 

i roll up to there thursday meets in lansdale. it always a civilized bunch i never saw any tomfoolery. i just go up to meet up with my friends from there.

Great location for a meet, I've always wanted to check out FDR skatepark.

If it does not work just go to tri state tuners and upcoming events. Look for FDR park meet Oct. 21. I just saw it there. Do you skate? This park is freaking awesome!
