All post that are meet/gathering oriented will be displayed here. In a few days we will have some rules and stickies displayed also.

If you post a meet in the normal section it will be moved to the Meets & Greets with out notice, so please keep an eye on this section. Everything should be alot more organized this way.

If we need a FS sub forum then we will get one. We do not have enough FS traffic to yield one as of now. We have much more meet post that need their own area.

Frank, don't recall if I posted in the 'do we need' thread.

I'm not a fan of the new sub-forum. We don't get so much activity IMHO to warrant this.

If you think that stickies (which I'm glad are greatly reduced) aren't looked at because they are at the top, I think a SF is going to make it worse. Now I need to click through to see if there is something I want to see. Before it was all on one page, we never have 2 active pages of threads in DV.

If anything, make the SF more of an off topic area - throw the anything, anywhere threads there plus the garbage threads in there. I think you'll see ultimately that this idea won't make sense either.

As I read the forum NOW (12:40 Friday), the regular forums most current topics are:

LV Run Leaders
I need help
EVO Land
Pocono Track Days
Detailing this weekend

You could argue that 3 of those are meet related, yet they are the active topics in the general DV forum.

I think its probably more work for the mods to manage what goes where than the people looking for stuff spend finding it. Just my 2 cents.
