Frank, I'll let you know what happens after I talk with the claims adjuster. He left me a message this morning, but I haven't been able to get a hold of him all day. Hopefully I reach him before the end of the day, and I can have the S transported to Beacon before Wednesday night. I'll let you know what happens.

Roger, thanks for the support. The front lip actually looked ok...it's ironic that you asked b/c I was thinking the exact same thought of selling the lip if I'm able to get an aftermarket bumper. I'll try and take more pics of everything once I go see it at the shop.

Hmmmm.....can't find that thread, so I'll post the comments here:

two FWIW comments:
*I had the OEM AP1 front lip at the time of my spinout; got cracked in the accident. It was included in my estimate @ $500 bucks. I told the garage to skip the lip....thus paying my $500 deductible
*As my AP1 bumper was a total loss, the nice garage guy agreed to install the AP2 front bumper at no extra cost. Unfortunately, the AP2 headlights require additional elec'l jazz...would have cost extra bucks....so I stuck with the AP1 headlights.

you also need to change the front fender liners and the engine box cover to make the ap2 front bumper fit on an ap2.

Thanks for the tips!

From what I saw the lip was ok, but I'll keep this in mind. Not sure if I want to do the ap2 bumper conversion yet...the Amuse R1 is looking really nice but about $1k more so that idea is out
