Default Whos handy with computer animation?

Ok I think I'm an idiot. (Mike, dont say its because I'm not an Eagles fan ) I am trying to make a animated avatar, but I cant figure out this demo program that I downloaded. All I want is a pic of this digital boost gauge scrolling from 0 to 7. I guess it has to meet the avatar requirments of 100X100 and 5kb I think.

Can anyone help? As in make one for me.
