Default why does the del val die in the winter?

it seems that every winter the del val forum falls off in the winter, i know a lot of people have their cars in storage and there isn't much goin on but does that mean we just stop comin on. Are some of us fair weather fans of the forum?

In all honesty, Del Val isn't that active when its not winter. This summer was the most active i've seen Del Val in the 4 years since i've joined. This year will be good. Were changing alot.

Seems like a lot of us have joined these past 2 years, so I'd venture to say that we'll have more to do soon. For me at least it's just hard to want to go outside when it's cold, especially considering I leave for work before the suns up, and get home as it goes down through the week.

We should start a calendar and start planning meets for spring and summer, and sneak a few in for whats left of winter.

Theirs going to be weekly meets. Its either going to be...

1. One weekly meet in NJ and one Weekly meet in PA

or

2. One week in NJ every 1st and 3rd weeks, and one in PA every 2nd and 4th weeks.

There should also be some of the one time type meets as well as some drives.

Probables for this year:

Borgata meet
Beach meet - could be attached to the above for a weekend meet
Long Wood Gardens Drive - who use to lead this?
New Hope
NY Metro tech day
Wake the Dragon
Fall Colors
Ridley Creek Park vette meet - might try another one or two of these w/ food

Like Frank said, delval has been kinda dead the last few years. Alot of the originals have there reasons they don't bother with some of this stuff.

Hopefully later this year I can get a car that will be "cool" enough for some of these meets, semi-cars showoffs, whatever. I like meeting at food places and would love to do a Weber's meet again.

Some meets in PA would be nice considering I work a lot and driving to glasssboro or further in Jersey isnt always easy for me.

This past year has been better than the past few as well. Hopefully, this year will be more active, maybe not for me, but at least for this group.

Borgata is done with. It will now be an official Atlantic City meet held at Caesars so people can afford the rooms to spend the night and be able to have more fun since theirs alot more places to go to on the boardwalk.

Paulie led the LWG runs, I believe he still does. I've never attended one due to working on the weekends, but thats over with now since im unemployed.
