What is that front lip made out of? Looks almost like plywood.

It's made from Alumilite. It's a two stage, wheel cooling air ducted, ultra-lite JFO design. Paten Pending!

Aka plastic, seams like it stands up to the track abuse pretty well. Much trouble with it breaking/ripping when you bottom out the front? Or does it flex enough that it survives?

That things been off track so much it thinks it's on a Lowrider Baja truck. Actually it has been off track a few times and seems to hold up really well.

Good stuff, been looking to make a diffuser out of aluminum(or steel) or plywood (suggested by a long time porsche racer) and hadn't considered plastic before. Seams like it might be a good option.
