Default WTB: Old Ipod

Sorry if this is off topic, but funds are tough and I was wondering if anyone has an old ipod classic laying around they wanna part with? Needs to be 30GB and up. If it has a bad screen, battery or buttons thats fine, it just needs to sync properly since i am just using it with my USB port in the S.

Thumb drives are pretty cheap too...

~$24 for a 60gb drive. http://www.pricewatch.com/gallery/hard_rem...s/notebook_60gb
$6 for a case: http://www.amazon.com/SATA-Hard-Drive-Case...e/dp/B000UTQOEW

so $40 after s&h for a 60gig portable drive that can hold anything? Provided that your usb port can just read a filesystem...

well thats the thing, i have a 32GB USB stick, but my head unit wont do a search unless its an ipod, which means scrolling thru 30GBs of music starting at A everytime i turn it on lol. with my iphone or an ipod it lets me pick by letter and start from there. i just need one big enough that'll hold all my music at once, my phone is only 8GB.

I've been too lazy to try to organize and find songs I like. I just stream from the Slacker app. Has a nice selection and you can skip songs.
