Default WTB: S2K for 10K

Just trying my luck around here... If you or if anybody knows someone who's getting rid of their S for 10K, please let me know. I'm trying to get back into one again... Preferrably in good condition and 0 problems. I searched in the classifieds but could not find a decent one for the price...

All your help is appreciated.

TIA,
Richie

For 10k be ready for a high mileage S2k probably not in the best cosmetic condition.

Had you been looking in Dec or Jan, I'd say this might have been possible. The car probably would have had high-mileage or needed something like tires or a new top at that price, but an S2000 that is not a complete disaster for $10000 or slightly less might have been doable. But S2000 prices around here always seem to rise when it starts getting warmer.

If you can bump up the budget another $3000 or so, you'd have a better chance of finding what you want. But otherwise, I'd recommend waiting until next winter when no one else in the NE wants to buy an S2000 and prices are lower again.

No way, maybe not now that the weather is breaking, but old AP1's go for very low prices, and even low milage AP2's are going in the mid to high teens. Look on Craigslist, and surf the boards, you can get a really good deal.

Good luck, and I hope you make it back as more then just a enthusiast!

If I was still in DelVal, I would have considered it. Good luck though!
