Too bad I watched History Channel's "real" take on the story as I would've liked the movie better. Awesome action and visuals but too unrealistic and persians portrayed as monsters and black folk.
I saw it and was a bit disappointed..Typical Hollywood garbage portraying other race & religion other than white & Christian...Apocalypto was way better than this computer generated hyped!!

This was about Frank Miller's comic book, not true history or racial attributes.

I personally felt that the movie was lame. Too much CGI, and way too much super slow motion action video. Once or twice would be fine but they went overboard with the slow motion. More fiction than fact.

Why does eveyone one on the internet say way to much fiction than fact about this movie? It's not based on facts it's based ona comic book or graphic novel some people call them not a single fact other than there was a battle here and a few names it's for entertainment not a history lesson.

Caught this one before it sluffed-off the schedule.

Visually stunning. I was glad to see it on the big screen. Not the best movie I've seen this year (thus far), but definitely good.
