adjustment burea
a good little film, well cast and directed and a cute spin on the short story by phillip k. dick. well worth seeing and since it is essentially a love story ok for the significant other, no blood and guts or shoot outs, lots of chases around nyc. 9 outta 10 for what it is, good entertainment.
Wow, I wouldn't go 9/10... maybe 7/10.
Should have ended BADLY.
Like NYC blowing up badly.
Think about it: since the beginning of time, there have been stories about Man trying to escape his own fate. Sophocles, Euripides, Homer...and it ALWAYS ends bad.
You don't try to run from your own fate.
Don't try to outsmart God.
They make a huge deal about The Plan...and it kinda never really matters.

for me it was just a fluff film, entertainment, no story or moral value, no lessons learned, although the script could have made that the point that you can't change fate, etc...I was smitten by the good time enjoyed while watching, nothing serious about this film or story line.
it had so much potential at the beginning. for me the ending was such a let down. if it had ended as mr dave mentioned, then i think it mightve had a chance to live up to the comparison of inception made by its own commercials. decent dialogue between the characters though.
