I was a little hesitant that they wanted to do the beginning again, but that said this does look promising.

have my tickets for tomorrow, but might see it tonight also! So far 72% on rotten tomatoes.

 

This version is a bit darker, more character development, and has a slower start. But once it gets in gear, hold on. A lot of fun, and the fight sequences btw spiderman and the lizard are sick.

 

yeah he didn't get into the spider suit until about half
way through, but overall it was a great movie.

i think the casting was great, Garfield and Stone were awesome together.

 

Wife and I watched this on tuesday afternoon. I liked this version much better. Kirsten Duncecap annoyed the crap out of me and I preferred Emma Stone. Also, this guys was a better Spiderman and more entertaining and seemed to remind me of the comic books more.

Agree on the slow start and maybe its the character build-up like someone stated above, but I did enjoy the movie all in all.

Also, hope everyone stayed past the credits

 

I agree, Emma stone did a way better job than duncecap, but then again they played two different characters. I saw it last week and was skeptical going in but I feel that Garfield did a better job than Tobey. I can't wait for the second one!
