Ok, I just discovered this show. It is a very dark comedy, extremely well written and has some seriously funny moments. The show is called Patriot on Amazon Prime.

I was searching through Amazon originals for any shows I might have missed. Season one had a 4 star review from nearly 8,000 reviewers, and season 2 had 4.5 stars from a few thousand, so I thought I would give it a try. It is weird. Maybe not for everyone but it is a very smart show. It is sort of like the TV series Fargo, which really does not do it for me much, but much better and with more laughs.

I searched for news about the show, only to find it is not being picked up for season 3 (so far) but hoping people see this show and word gets out so they renew it. The comments in the article about its cancellation were full of glowing superlatives and questions as to why Amazon never promoted this show. For me, this is up there with the best of the streaming originals and one of my favorites.

I really liked it and laughed a lot, and think you might too. Give it a try.
