I see adds for the movie Blindness and it looks like some cheesy Steven King flick but I notice both local papers thought it was brilliant. I see Ebert, who likes everything generally HATES the movie and so do several others, but MRQWE has these reviews all over the map.....

Some say crap, some say brilliant but bleak. Now with Children of Men I was on the bleak but brilliant side and loved the movie. Just wondering if anyone had seen it and what did you think?

FANTASTIC movie. I am not alone though. lots of people felt that way. EW had it as their pick for Oscar nomination snub of the year.

 

It was OK, but not great. I think Children of Men was better, though it has been a while since I've seen that. I'd wait for DVD. . .

 

I loved CoM. I know mostly nothing about Blindness though.

 

Children of Men was awesome! I thought it was well acted. Julianne Moore and Clive Owen had awesome chemistry. Special effects looked official... story was a touch slow. Cool, nonetheless.
