Wife liked far more than I did, I give it 2.5/4. This would have been a much better movie if it was a half hour shorter, and was not a complete RIPOFF of Forrest Gump and Big Fish.
BIG FISH=son at father's death bed
Ben Button=daughter at mothers death bed
Big Fish= touching scene where son takes dying father to favorite spot on river
Ben Button = touching scene where son takes dying father to favorite spot on lake
Forrest Gump= mental backwardness
Ben Button= aging backwardness
Forrest Gump= longs for flighty hippie and misses much time they could have spent together
Ben Button = longs for flighty dancer and misses much time they could have spent together
Forrest Gump= rejects first romantic advance from flighty girl
Ben Button= rejects first romantic advance from flighty girl
Forrest Gump= eventually has encounter with girl resulting in normal son
Ben Button=eventually has encounter with girl resulting in normal daughter.
Forrest Gump= raised in boarding house with exposure to many people
Ben Button= raised in nursing home with exposure to many people
Forrest Gump=has many adventures that take him around the world
Ben Button= has many adventure that take him around the world

Forrest Gump= loses closest friend in war

It was an ok movie that does a nice job at story telling and the special effects are truly excellent. It is as if the writer of the screenplay took the Forrest Gump script and just changed a couple things. I did not feel I was watching something original.

I enjoyed parts of it and found myself falling asleep in others. It was just alright 6.5/10 IMO

I give it a F-. Most boring movie I've ever seen. Brad Pitt does some excellent acting, but I wanted his character to die so bad.
Just thinking about this movie is giving me violent flashbacks of sitting in a theater for 3 hours ready to blow my brains out.
