A COMPLETE UNKNOWN...Bob Dylan gold!
We caught A COMPLETE UNKNOWN last night. Now I know it's been out for a few weeks already, but the theatre was still relatively well attended so maybe it's catching on.
This is another in a series of recent iconic musician biopics. I really didn't know much about Bob Dylan, but developed a better appreciation for his music. This was a memorable picture with plenty of excellent musical scenes to really absorb- very powerful connecting the era to the message that drove him. I got the sense that Bob Dylan was obsessed with getting the pent up creativity out. Well acted with Timothy Chalamet providing a realist interpretation of Bob Dylan. Great to see Edward Norton returning to form, also supported by Elle Fanning and Monica Barbara,
The fans of Bob Dylan may not find it dove deeply enough, but for the general public, this is a truly enjoyable watch.
I give this 8.5/10. For audiences 14+ with some language and adult themes.
