It was FUN! Don't expect a great work of cinematic brilliance. People either like John Carpenter films or they don't. Hopefully by now you know which kind of person you are. If you see it, just expect to have fun and check out for a little while.
This film has lots of head chopping, arm severing action, and after all, how can you knock that? It reminded me alot of one of Carpenter's earliest films, "Assault on Precinct 13." Give that one a try also.

I thought it was all right - depends on what you are looking for. If you are into movies like Starship troopers etc, I think you would enjoy it. On the other hand, if you like movies like Titanic, don't bother!

The worst movie ever was "Underworld," released in the UK as "Transmutations" (1985). http://us.imdb.com/Title?0090233
