Default The Hills Have Eyes

Let me start of by saying that I hate horror movies of all types and I was dragged into seeing this movie last night. Without giving it away, if there is even something there to give away, the movie goes from being boring to just plain depressing and disturbing in about five minutes. I thought the movie sucked, but again, I never liked horror flicks to begin with. Just the whole thing with the mutated people with some extreme birth defects creeped me out, but if that was what the movie was made to do then maybe it wasn't all that bad. Anyone else see it?

I completely agree with you on this one. I just saw it on friday night and man, it was like I left the theater really mad from the sh*t that happened in that movie. Just thinking about if that was me in that situation. I'd go crazy. It seriously did go from boring to really disturbing within 5 min.

There were also dumb moments in the movie that you know would only happen in a horror flick, but I'll let everyone realize that if they go see it.

But yes, if the movie was targeted at being disturbing then it did it's job.

it was between "meh..." and "allright" for me. Nothing special, nothing bad...I was expecting a little more from the rave reviews, but oh well. It had its moments. I prefered the Texas chainsaw remake personaly.

I was so looking forward to this movie...I love scary movies! But this was so awful and very disturbing from a girls point of view too. It was so disturbing that I wanted to get up a leave the movie..but I know my boyfriend wouldn't like that. But there were other people that did leave.

This movie is very similar to "Wrong Turn" with Eliza Dushku. Did I like it??? Hmmm...it was ok..nothing special.
